How It Works – New Spring International Journal (NSIJ)
NSIJ follows a transparent, ethical, and editor-led publishing process designed to support high-quality scholarship across disciplines and languages.
Step 1: Submission
Authors submit manuscripts through our online submission system. Submissions must comply with the journal’s scope, ethical standards, and author guidelines.
Step 2: Initial Editorial Screening
Each submission undergoes:
- Administrative checks
- Ethical compliance checks
- AI-assisted technical screening (structure, similarity, clarity)
⚠️ AI tools support editors but do not make decisions.
Step 3: Editorial Assessment
A Section Editor evaluates the manuscript’s relevance, originality, and readiness for peer review.
Possible outcomes:
- Desk rejection (with explanation)
- Revision before peer review
- Progression to peer review
Step 4: Peer Review
Manuscripts sent for review undergo double-blind peer review by independent experts.
Reviews focus on:
- Scholarly rigor
- Methodology
- Contribution to the field
Step 5: Editorial Decision
Based on reviewer reports and editorial judgment, the editor issues one of the following decisions:
- Accept
- Minor revision
- Major revision
- Reject
Step 6: Production & Publication
Accepted articles are:
- Copyedited
- Assigned DOIs
- Published online (open access)
Optional post-publication peer review may follow.
